Aneel has over 15 years of demonstrated track record of working in top multinational chemical companies followed by experience with rural development organizations. Prior to GVK, he served as the Program Manager for Zameen Organic, a pioneer sustainable cotton program that worked to improve livelihoods of 5000 marginalized cotton farmers in rural India. At Zameen, he worked to increase efficiencies, lower input costs and raise incomes for farmers through organic and fair-trade certifications. He later worked on multiple financial inclusion projects, particularly in micro-finance and women empowerment programs. Aneel has a Masters in Organic Agriculture degree from Wageningen University, Netherlands and an undergraduate degree in Agricultural Sciences from A.N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, India. He is a certified Master Trainer from FAO and the United Nations that allow him to conduct high-standard Farmer Field Schools across India and abroad.
